The way I spend most of my days.

I am on the internet or computer most of my day.  One of my goals with this photo challenge is to become more engaged in the world around me.  It will be very boring to have 350 pictures of my laptop on my blog. 

With this project I hope to also become a better photographer, to learn more about who I am as an artist and a person. 

As a person I am a wife, mom, woman of
God and a person who is still searching for exactly who I am. 

Enough with the deep thoughts for today.  We'll see what I discover about myself in this next year.  Hope I don't discover that I am a quitter.

Life is Just a Bowl of Skittles

This is a picture of some skittles we used today for a game at Payton's Birthday party.  Can you believe that she is 11 years old?

Her party was so much fun.  We had a great time.  Not many people came but that's ok. 

We played a game called Drama Bag.  The kids got to get props and make up skits.  We also had a pinata filled with candy and balloons.

The theme of her party was a flip flop party and the decorations were very cute.  I made an awesome cake that looked like a pair of flip flops.

Happy Birthday to my baby, Payton Jewel, who is growing up way too fast.  I love you!!!
